Internship Opportunities for Doctoral Students

Below is a list of multi-faceted internships available to doctoral students (and in some cases, graduates.) The first set is sponsored by two non-profit organizations collectively called American Progress and may be accessed at www.americanprogress.org/about/internships/.  Their recommended deadline for summer internships is February 16. The second set of internships is sponsored by the Berkman Center at Harvard University, and requires residence in Boston. These are paid internships. Their deadline is also February 16.

Do you want a paid internship that enhances your resume without leaving campus? The National Society of Leadership and Success, one of the largest leadership honor societies in America, is looking for the best and the brightest student leaders to apply for an internship for Fall 2011.

If selected as an intern, your responsibility will be to start a chapter of the Society on your campus. You will serve as the president of a leadership honor society (also known as Sigma Alpha Pi), reserve rooms to put on life changing events for students on your campus. Some of these events will include live webcasts from the nation’s top speakers and celebrities to teach students how to become leaders as well as the keys to success. Some past speakers include: Stephen Covey, Lou Holtz, Goldie Hawn, Jack Canfield, and other celebrity speakers from hit TV shows such as Survivor and 

America’s Next Top Model.
