The Cohort PhD Program in Interdisciplinary Studies is pleased to announce the creation of four new graduate assistantships associated with our new graduate student-run journal, Penumbra: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Critical and Creative Inquiry. These assistantships constitute the main editorial and managerial support for the journal. Many thanks to the work of the Journal Task Force and Journal Committee, the Dean, and the Provost, for making this possible.
There are two “Co-Editor” positions, which carry primary responsibility for the management of the journal. They involve a full workload and are open to advanced doctoral students in Term 6 or beyond. There are also two “Associate Editor” positions that carry a lighter workload and are open to students in Term 2 or beyond. Please see the attached job descriptions for full details on the positions and instructions for applying. The application deadline is June 30, 2011.
