The 2010-2011 UI&U Doctoral Scholarship Application has now been posted on the UI&U website and is available to eligible doctoral learners: http://www.myunion.edu/admissions/scholarship/Doctoral-Scholarship-Application.pdf
Additional information: http://www.myunion.edu/admissions/scholarship/index.html.
- The scholarship funds available through this application process benefit current doctoral learners. Learners may apply for a general doctoral scholarship award (institutionally funded) and/or a special-eligibility scholarship award (funded by generous donations from alumni, faculty, and friends).
- Prior to starting the application process, doctoral learners should consider whether or not they are eligible. Eligibility can be determined by reviewing the criteria listed on the first page of the application.
- If learners are interested in applying for a special-eligibility scholarship, they should carefully read the criteria listed for each fund. Each fund description contains additional criteria that must be met to qualify for an award from that particular fund. Learners applying for a special-eligibility scholarship still need to meet the criteria necessary for the general UI&U doctoral scholarships.
- All applications and materials must be submitted to the UI&U Office of Financial Aid by October 1, 2010. Learners may send their materials via mail or by email (scanned and attached PDF). If the learner wishes to send the materials via email, he or she can send to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
